Care and Use Guide
Assembling Spout Lid
1. Remove lid (A) by twisting it counterclockwise, replace the lid (A) by twisting it clockwise.
2. Twist off the locking-cap (B) to open.
3. Push the spout cap (B) to handle (C) to lock the cap (B).
4. When finishing drinking, flip over the cap (B) and twist to close and lock.
5. Pull the handle (C) to take the bottle anywhere.
a. Ensure gaskets (A1 and B1) are properly seated to prevent leaking.
b. Fill container with beverage. Do not overfill. Leave space for lid (A) to avoid overflow.
Using the Bottle
Before first use, wash all parts with warm, soap water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry.
After each use, wash all parts with warm, soap water right away. Then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Allow to dry completely prior to next use or storage.
Do not use bleach or detergents containing chlorine on any parts of the product.
Hand Wash Only - This product is not dishwasher safe .
Hand washing is recommended to ensure that all parts of the product are thoroughly cleaned.
Warnings
- Do not use the product in microwave, on stove top, or in any type of oven.
- Be careful when filled with hot liquids. Hot liquids may burn or scald user.
- Always test temperature of contents before consuming.
- Do not overfill the container. Leave space at top of container to avoid overflow.
- Check the gasket periodically to ensure it is not worn or misaligned as this may cause leakage.
- Do not use the container to hold or store carbonated drinks or dry ice.
- Do not use tools or devices to open the container.

It's been a couple years, so it's time to give it a review. If you're wondering if this "water-bottle" (It's a thermos, call it a thermos) is worth it, please read:The "48H Cold & 24H Hot" temperature holding claim is likely for their 128oz bottle (more fluid means longer temp holds), I bought the 64oz one and it'll stay cold for 30-35 hours and piping hot through out an entire work shift, but will be warm (not hot) before reaching a full day. Other brands make the same 48/24 claim, but trust me any thermos of this size will not hold temps any better than this one, my wallet will testify that.I have been putting this thermos through hell for years; and it takes abuse like a champ.Of the 3 caps it comes with, the flip lid with a straw did eventually lose the ability to hold in pressure after a couple years, but that's probably my fault for obsessively using (and abusing) the hell out of it. So after it gets worn down, if you fill it full of cold water and forget about it this is what happens > the water warms up and expands (physics) creating pressure (physics) and pushes water up the straw, slowly forcing its way out of the worn flip-spout-lid-thing (also physics)... it won't be like that at first, but if you plan to use that particular lid heavily like I do, after a year or two you'll eventually find yourself approaching your desk wondering how water or soda got all over the desk (PHYSICS, IT'S PHYSICS for GOD'S SAKE).Anyway, if you're going to use the flip-lid with a straw, be mindful of that happening in the future with heavy use... With that being said, you can expect the same thing to happen with any bottle that uses that style of lid. The other two types of lids it comes with will not have this issue. Now you're probably telling yourself "I bet there's a better build product out there", hahaha, my wallet disagrees, I've spent THOUSANDS in my quest to find the perfect thermos and I can confidently tell you this one here IS definitely a workhorse like Stanley products, only it's more affordable and more stable while sitting upright compared to a Stanley thermos. Just get it, and pat yourself on the back for reading my whole dang review. Peace!
